Queen for a Day

This is my first post on our blog! Last night, we ventured around Kensington, the part of London that our hotel is in. It is SO nice. Robert got shown up by a man in the train station who carried my bag for me up the stairs... who knew there was Southern Hospitality in London? We were made fun of for being American in the train station while trying to buy tickets for the underground, but eventually found our way and spent all day today venturing around London.

This is a picture of the underground station that we take all around London!

Robert looking embarrassingly touristy.....

Sausage and mash for dinner

Fish and chips. So London-y!!

Our cheap, local breakfast (at 1pm... whoops!)
This was in the tube station and I thought it was so beautiful!

In downtown London, these little toy men come out on the hour and greet each other with tea, then go back in. So cute!

WWII Memorial that Queen Elizabeth unveiled last June

The place that I was meant to live in. No William, Kate, or Harry, but we're going to keep trying!

This fountain was outside of Buckingham Palace. So pretty.

Buckingham Palace from afar.

The most London-y street I've seen.

A statue in memory of a King and Queen.

Random horse brigade

Princess Diana Garden

Big Ben!!!

Buckingham Palace from the opposite side of the Thames.

The outside of our hotel!

Feeling super local with sparkling water!
